unstructured

Hello! Hola! Ciao! 48656c6c6f!

My name is Brayden and welcome to the unstructured blog. Following my personal and professional interests, I believe this site is a natural progression in my life’s work. I hope that it reflects well through my authenticity.

My goal is to cover topics that interest me that centre around language and technology. With the recent boom in AI and the rise of Large Language Models (LLMs), I hope to touch on aspects that are close to me. Topics such as how language and computers go hand-in-hand, and how language is a form to not only encoding information, but to self-express.

My hope for this site is to connect with other humans that are looking to understand technology a little better, so that it is less confronting and intimidating. Instead, I hope it can be seen as a way to leverage the human collective mind and pull each other up.

Technology has the power to lift up democracy, we just need the right people behind it to make it possible. My dream through this blog is to touch people from all walks of life and backgrounds to showcase that the possibilities of this technology are endless and designed to help people.

Occasionally, I might get lost in the weeds, as I am a sucker for long technical and potentially philosophical discussions. If you are feeling lost, do not dismay. I encourage you to move to the next post (once I start writing them), as you might be able to connect with it better.

While the code of this blog has been completely AI-assisted, I make a promise to myself and to you personally that my posts will be true to the heart and only include the products of genuine human labour.

In the longer term, I would like to find ways to connect more deeply with these discussions and individuals. Tradionally, that would be through a commenting system but I want to brainstorm if a more accessible engagement system can be built. If you know me personally, let me know if you have any ideas or thoughts on this topic.

That is all for now. I hope to see you in the next post!
